Who am I? |
I'm a creative professional specializing in Audience Development, Social Media Management, Video/Audio Production, and Narrative Writing. After graduating from UC Berkeley in 2018, I now work full-time at Scoop Technologies, a San Francisco new mobility startup that is changing how we get to work. At Scoop I manage social media, write blog posts, and execute high-level digital content strategy. In my free time, I freelance for publishers seeking creative pieces ranging from personal narratives and satire to moderately reported stories.
Previously, I interned at NowThis and CNET where I managed social media, produced video content, worked on set, and wrote extensively. These internships gave me the cutting edge skills to write lean copy for digital audiences interested in anything from culture and lifestyle to tech and breaking news. These opportunities also provided me with valuable experience in managing posts, creating content, and analyzing data for social portfolios with millions of followers. I also wrote my own queer sex column, "Sex on Tuesday," and co-hosted an LGBTQ+ sex comedy podcast, "Hard and Soft." Here I crafted pieces on the complicated intersections of sex work, college hookup culture, dating apps, bedside racism, mental health, and more. Through comedy I was able to work towards destigmatizing gay sex and empowering UC Berkeley's queer culture through innovative storytelling. |
