Role: CNET Social Media Production Intern
As a Social Media Production Intern at CBS Interactive, I performed a wide array of functions to strengthen CNET's social media presence and brand. My main duty was to oversee daily posting on all social platforms, mainly Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. I also wrote articles, edited videos, and developed social strategy for CNET. Below is some of my editorial work!
Writing
One of my responsibilities was to write quick articles on trending news and topics pertinent to culture and tech. Here are some of the bylines I contributed to CNET.com, click the images to check them out! And to view my full author page, click here.
Graphics
Aside from contributing to editorial, I also promoted CNET content on social media. While undertaking daily editorial tasks, I tried to experiment with CNET's posting style by using a younger voice and employing different strategies. One of my big initiatives was implementing tweetstorms for larger feature pieces. I created all the graphics, Photoshop templates, and gifs myself. Video
As a social production intern, I worked to create social video for our Facebook audience. My responsibilities ranged from writing scripts and captioning videos, to on set tasks and post-production editing with Premiere. Click each thumbnail to watch on Facebook!
